Digital Reprographics

RPG Digital Imaging offers the latest in digital reprographics technology. We combine the Xerox Synergix family of large document scanning / copying / plotting systems with Xerox and Canon high speed small document scanning and printing systems.

Large Format

Xerox Synergix - For large format documents (any size over 11" x 17"), the Xerox Synergix digital copiers are an integrated solution for the entire reprographic process, from multi-format input to finished sets. Whether your input is hard copy (up to 36" wide and more than 20 feet long), digital CAD/EDM data, or a mixture of both, our Xerox Synergix digital copiers will handle it efficiently and easily.

Copying - Scan once, print many... We begin by defining the document sets (quantity, zoom, media, etc.) at the scanner console. We then scan the documents once into memory, then print all the copies you need. The Xerox Auto IQ technology automatically optimizes copy quality, ensuring that every copy is right the first time.

Black & White Scanning - RPG is able to use the Xerox Synergix system to scan your documents to a file. Whether they are blue prints, sepias, or even old archived drawings, we are able in most cases to give you a better-looking scan than the original by removing "background" such as wrinkles, age marks, etc. The files are then saved as a standard TIF or CALS file and written to a recordable CD.

Plotting / Printing - With the Xerox Synergix technology, every print is a "first-quality" original print. Our equipment is fast - approximately 600 24” x 36” prints per hour. Each original print is archivable. The image is pressed into the media, with no “toner lump”, so pages do not stick together. In most cases, a vellum or mylar original / reproducible is not needed saving you time and money. Prints are recyclable just like any other laser-type print and no ammonia is used! Our output has excellent resolution: 400 DPI and 0.06mm minimum line width. We offer a large media selection, including bond, vellum, mylar, and clear film. We also have multiple weights and colors of bond media available.

Small Format

Copying / Printing - We offer high quality and high speed copying and printing, using Xerox and Canon copiers. We can copy and print 8½" x 11", 8½" x 14", and 11" x 17" single or double-sided, with enlargements up to 400%, and reductions down to 50%. We can set up & produce tabs from full-cut to 10-up from digital files. We accept all native Microsoft, Adobe, Corel, and Quark application formats.

Black & White Scanning - With the addition of our high speed document scanners, we are able to scan your books and manuals and save them to disk. This is not only great for archival purposes, but we are also then able to print sets of them for you to our digital copier / printers. Scanned manuals can also be saved in Adobe Acrobat format in both color and black & white for a complete digital copy.

Finishing - Let RPG Digital Imaging create your books and manuals for you. We can take your original and finish it with color covers, tabs and a multitude of binding methods. Custom binders, tabs and covers are available.
