Reprographics is a term used to describe the process of REPROducing plans and specifications for the building and construction industries. These documents are typically produced in wide format, 30×42 (Architectural 30), 24×36 (D size) or 18×24 (C size). The outdated or historical vernacular for these documents is, blue prints . Although the process of creating these documents no longer renders them blue the term now refers to digital imaging. There are still a few people creating truly blue prints but the majority of the industry, including RPG, has gone to REPROducing plans via wide format digital printing equipment onto a variety of medias.
Plans come to us in several forms but the most common are either electronic digital files or a set of the original paper plans which are brought to us to scan and create additional copies or to distribute for the A/E/C industry. With the capability of producing 3,900 D size prints per hour RPG can handle your largest repro projects. We also offer a wide variety of finishing options including stapling, binding, lamination, padding, and saddle stitching.
In addition to the wide format printing we do, we also can provide small format color and black and white high speed copying, 8.5 x11, 8.5 x14,
11 x17, on a variety of paper stocks. We also produce a variety of spiral bound specification books and promotional booklets.
